Zagreb, December 20, 2011 - Combis has successfully met a high security standard, which proves responsibly of Combis toward its own and other users’ information. Certification is a testimony that with the implementation of Information Security Management System, Combis fulfilled the conditions of ISO 27001 standard.

This standard requires a systematic implementation of controls in order to make information available and susceptible to alteration only by those who are authorized, and it demands that the documents carry a classification of security clearance. In addition, ISO 27001 sets a formalized system of accountability, ensures reliable software infrastructure, and confirms the implementation of control through the "Log & Audit" policy.

- Information Security Management System introduces a new way of thinking in our daily work because security is more about the question of procedure and conduct, than the matter of technology itself. If the security is not thought through when the architecture is being designed, then system failure occur later, which is very difficult to correct afterward- said Leo Petrov, a member of the Board for operations in Combis.
